Sometimes the best things in life require a little investment—and we're not just talking about eHarmony's paid subscription (though yes, that too!).

Back in August 2023, I was doing my usual swiping routine when I came across a profile that made me pause. Keith Pervall. Something about his profile spoke to me, so I took a leap of faith and sent him a request. Lucky for me, he decided to take a chance on this stranger from the internet, and what started as a simple match became the beginning of our everything.

Our early days were spent getting to know each other through eHarmony's messaging system. After about a week of witty exchanges and discovering shared interests, I thought we were ready for the next step. "Want my phone number?" I offered. But Keith, ever the careful one, politely declined. He wanted to chat a bit longer first—and I quote—to "make sure I could string sentences together." Yes, he was completely serious!

Two or three weeks into our digital courtship, Keith surprised me out of the blue by asking for my number. Apparently, I had passed the sentence-stringing test with flying colors! Our phone conversations quickly became the highlight of my days—equal parts funny, romantic, and endlessly interesting. We both knew it was time to see if our connection was as strong in person as it was through our screens.

Like a true gentleman, Keith flew down to Charleston, South Carolina to meet me. October 20, 2023—a date now permanently etched in our hearts. As I waited at the airport, butterflies doing somersaults in my stomach, I wondered what to expect. But the moment I picked him up and our eyes met, something just clicked. I knew. And when I caught him sneaking a glance at my feet (yes, really!), I'm pretty sure he knew too—I was the one for him.

From that October day forward, we've been inseparable. Every day has been an adventure, filled with laughter, love, and the comfortable feeling of being exactly where we're meant to be. On October 12, 2024, nearly a year after our airport meeting, Keith asked me to officially join my life with his forever.

So here we are, ready to celebrate our love story with all of you—a story that started with a swipe, survived a sentence-structure assessment, and blossomed into a love that makes us grateful every day for modern technology (and paid dating subscriptions!).
